I was watching television one day and saw a commerical for free wireless amber alerts. Immediately, it caught my attention.
WirelessAmberAlerts.org.
This website will send free text message amber alerts directly to your cellphones for up to 5 zipcodes you choose. So, whether you have the financial means to do more or not, you can still help make this world a safer, better place.
Every little thing makes a HUGE difference.
Take care of yourselves and each other.
(Please note: Amber alerts are warning notices that are sent out whenever a child has been abducted.)

Your Goodwill Matters

As much as I can remember, I try to clean off my book shelves and closets to take things to my local Goodwill Donation Center. While oftentimes I find it difficult to let go of things that sit around my apartment, untouched and unused for months even years, I have to remind myself that for someone else, they might be extremely valuable and important to their lives; and, in a larger sense, to the betterment of the community and our world.
I took about 3 bags of books to the Goodwill Donation Center about two months ago. It was about 11pm at night and yet as I pulled up to the dropoff area, there was what appeared to be a father and son who just pulled up as well on bicycles. They smiled at me and began looking through what had been dropped off. It is because of moments like this, when I am able to, I try to continue to give away the things that I know in my heart I no longer need or know I will no longer use.
In addition to the help you will be giving others, I have read that when you metaphorically clear up space in your closet, on your bookshelves and in your space, you open up space for new things to come into your life. Metaphorically, it is also a reflection of you. The more that the items in your life and living space reflect who you are presently, the more freer, lighter, and happier you will feel!
Best wishes & blessings to all.
